Tay Ninh orients to develop spiritual and cultural tourism products to turn tourism into a key economic sector of the province in 2023.
Tay Ninh tourism aims to become a major economic sector, accounting for more than 10% of GRDP by 2023. The growth rate of tourism revenue increases annually by an average of 25% or more. The average spending of tourists to Tay Ninh reaches more than 1.3 million VND/person/day.
The province needs to upgrade infrastructure, accommodation, and entertainment services to achieve above goals. Outstanding tourist attractions must be established to increase the length of stay and spending of tourists.
Recently, the People’s Committee of Tay Ninh province held the festival “Art of making vegetarian dishes in Tay Ninh province for the first time in 2023” to promote the value of cultural heritage. The festival, which takes place over three days, from January 27-29 is expected to attract hundreds of thousands of followers and tourists.
Tay Ninh will focus on developing tourism products associated with festivals and beliefs such as the Dieu Tri Palace Festival, the Spring Festival of Ba Den Mountain, the ceremony of Ba Linh Son Thanh Mau, and the Ky Yen festival of the Gia Loc family, Tra Vong festival,…
Therefore, the province needs to upgrade transport infrastructure to ensure a smooth connection and synchronize tourism with the region.
Tay Ninh also encourages the development of 3-star or higher-standard accommodation facilities and improves the quality of food and beverage services. The province also actively promotes tourism to attract tourists from other countries.
In addition, Tay Ninh also recorded many big achievements in tourism during the last Lunar New Year. Total tourism revenue reached 524 billion VND, up 153.3% over the same period.
In lunar January, Tay Ninh launched many cultural and spiritual festivals that attracted tourists, including Ba Den Mountain Spring Festival, Cao Dai Temple Festival, and Leaf Market (Hoa Thanh). Visitors can visit Tay Phap Pagoda (Trang Bang) to enjoy the green, ancient, and peaceful campus.
